Giant Nevada Company On Record as Hostile to Traditional Marriage

Since Caesars Entertainment is in a joint venture to create the largest gay club in the world, it should be no surprise that Caesars has joined forces with corporate America in telling the U.S. Supreme Court that the majority of Californians who voted for Proposition 8 are perfect idiots.  It signed an amicus curiae brief, along with about 100 other companies, to argue that, because its potential employees are stigmatized by not being able to marry, thousands of years of cultural norms and moral imperatives should be banned from America.

This is what your gaming and investment dollars support, dear reader.  Oh, and let’s bet Caesars is getting some tax breaks, grants and other government handouts to prop up their business model.  This is the dirty secret of the left.  With one set of mouths they argue how greedy korporate amerika is.  With another set of mouths, they walk arm in arm with those same corporations to foist a wicked social agenda on the rest of us.  It’s all mirrors, and there will probably be plenty of those at Caesars’ new “largest gay club in the world”.

Here are some of Caesar’s holdings or affiliates, from its website:

Caesars, Harrah’s (Lake Tahoe and New Orleans), the Horseshoe, World Series of Poker.

Bally’s, Paris (hotel in Las Vegas), the Flamingo, Planet Hollywood

Grand Biloxi (Mississippi), Harveys (Lake Tahoe), The Quad Resort & Casino (Las Vegas), Rio (Las Vegas hotel)

The LinQ (Las Vegas retail center), Nobu Hotel, The Showboat (Atlantic City, New Jersey) [Is there a Chris Christie connection there? – Just asking], and Tunica Roadhouse (Mississippi).

With all those locations, don’t tell me they got no tax breaks, real estate deals and permitting bypasses.  Don’t even go there.  We all know better.  All of this, in order to bring same-sex marriage to a street corner near you.

Why “near you” if you don’t live in California?  Because the amicus brief wants it to be impossible for any state of the precarious union to ban gay marriage.
